Who We Are

Our Community Mission

At OnSideWithTheMariners (OSWTM), we believe football is the ultimate classroom for life.

What started as a fan platform has evolved into a dedicated community hub. We use the power of the Central Coast's football culture to deliver vital life skills, emotional support, and educational pathways to youth and families across the region.

Our programs are designed to build resilience, foster healthy relationships, and create a "safe pitch" where everyone belongs—on and off the field.

FAN-LED SUPPORT

Our roots are still in the fans. We provide a space for the Yellow Army to give back to the Central Coast community.

Onside with the Mariners

Onside with the Mariners began with a shared concern for young people on the Central Coast and a belief that football can help start important conversations.
Built in partnership with the Central Coast Mariners, the program was created to respond to the real challenges being seen in schools, families and communities, particularly around respect, relationships and safety.

Onside works directly with young people, using football as a starting point to talk about teamwork, communication and looking out for one another. The aim is simple: give young people the confidence to understand healthy relationships, recognise unsafe behaviour and know that support is available.

The program brings together players, educators, schools and families to create safe spaces for honest conversations. What starts on the field continues into classrooms, homes and everyday life.

Onside with the Mariners is about being present, listening and supporting the next generation to make better choices — for themselves and for each other.
